What this site is

This is a personal brand website. It shares my story, points to businesses I own or recommend, and offers my opinions. That's it. Nothing here is a product, a service, or a contract for anything.

Nothing on this site is professional advice. Not financial advice, not legal advice, not tax advice, not business advice, and not medical advice. I'm not a lawyer, accountant, financial advisor, or doctor, and nothing you read here creates any kind of professional relationship between us.

Before you make a decision that affects your money, your business, your legal situation, or your health, talk to someone qualified in that field who knows your actual circumstances.

No guarantees

I make no income claims anywhere on this site, and I never will. Anything I share about business or building online reflects my own experience. It is not a prediction, a projection, or a promise of what will happen for you. Results depend on your effort, skills, market, timing, and plenty of things nobody controls. Most people who buy business education do not build a full time income from it.

I also don't guarantee that anything on this site is complete, current, or error free. I try, but I get things wrong sometimes. If you spot something, tell me and I'll fix it.

Third party links and businesses

This site links to other businesses, some of which pay me. Those relationships are spelled out on the disclosures page. Once you click through to another site, you're dealing with that business directly, under their terms, their policies, and their pricing. I don't control what they do, I'm not responsible for their products or services, and any dispute you have with them is between you and them.

My content

The writing, photos, and design on this site belong to me. You're welcome to link to it, quote a bit of it with credit, or share it. You're not welcome to copy it wholesale, republish it as your own, feed it into a product, or use it commercially without asking me first. Ask, and I'm usually pretty reasonable about it.

Photographs of my family are personal. Please don't use them for anything, ever.

Your conduct

Don't use this site to break the law, harass anyone, distribute malware, scrape it at volume, or attempt to access anything you're not supposed to. Obvious stuff.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, I'm not liable for any damages arising from your use of this site or your reliance on anything you read here. You use it at your own risk. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this may not apply to you.

Availability

I make no promise that the site will be available, uninterrupted, or bug free. I may change, update, or take down any of it whenever I want, without notice.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when I last did. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles. If you're outside the United States, you're responsible for complying with your own local laws.
